BCE-Mach shows how aggressive it is in Northern Oklahoma drilling

Completion reports made this week reveal just how active BCE-Mach LLC in Oklahoma City is with its drilling in northern Oklahoma. The company is following through on promises it made when it was founded in 2018.

Reports filed Wednesday show 5 more completions were made in Woods County. The wells had completion dates in February and March 2019. Their sites were near Freedom and Alva and the production ranged from a high of 254 barrels of oil a day to a low of 111.

Earlier in the week, BCE-Mach LLC filed completion reports on 9 wells—-one in Woods and 8 in nearby Alfalfa county.

BCE-Mach LLC is a company formed in 2018 by Mach Resources LLC based in Oklahoma City and Bayou City Energy Management LLC of Houston, Texas. Bayou City is an upstream-focused energy private equity firm created in 2015 and is led by Will McMullen and Mark Stoner. BCE joined forces with Mach LLC to acquire, explore and develop oil and gas assets in Oklahoma and Kansas.

Mach LLC was founded by early 2017 by Tom L. Ward. In announcing the partnership, the companies indicated they intended to “redevelop select ‘undercapitalized’ regions of the upstream sector.”

In May, BCE-Mach LLC announced the closing on an acquisition of producing properties in Barber and Harper Counties, Kansas…both are located next to the state line with Oklahoma. It was reported to be the third acquisition by the company in the Mississippi Lime since March 2018.

At the time of the announcement, BCE-Mach said it had two rigs in the field and owned nearly 260,000 net acres. It also operated 835 wells and owned an interest in 1,561 wells operated by third parties across 22 counties in Oklahoma and Kansas.
