Crude oil prices and Oklahoma energy stocks were down in Wednesday’s trading….oil by 3% due to an increase in US commercial inventories along with weaker economic data out of China.
Analysts suggested that investors are still keeping a wary eye on what develops in the Middle East where Israel is contemplating a response to last weekend’s missile attacks by Iran.
West Texas Intermediate crude for May finished down $2.67 or 3.1% at $82.69 a barrel, its biggest fall since March 20.
Global benchmark Brent crude dropped $2.73 or 3% at $87.29 a barrel.
