Energy and Commerce Republicans explore impact of Keystone pipeline cancellation

Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin and other Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee announced who will take part in their Keystone XL pipeline forum planned for Tuesday.

Entitled “President Biden’s Cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline and American Jobs,” the forum will feature Scott Moe, premier of Saskatchewan; Austin Knudsen, attorney general of Montana; and John Stoody, vice president of government and public relations for the Association of Pipe Lines.

The Committee said the speakers will focus on what they call the “devastating impacts” of President Biden’s decision on the pipeline will have no jobs and workers.

The forum will begin at 3:30 p.m. Central Time and will take place remotely via Cisco WebEx video conferencing. Members of the public may view the meeting via live webcast available on the Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans website and YouTube page.
