House Republicans announce energy legislation blitz

Look for Oklahoma’s Republican members of the U.S. to be active this week in supporting a handful of GOP bills aimed against President Biden’s green energy push that targeted the oil and gas industry.

The House GOP leadership announced over the weekend it intends  to launch a blitz of bills switching who is in the target.

“Whether it’s pumping gas at the gas station, or when you pay your household electricity bill, people know they’re paying too much because of the far-left agenda here in Washington,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said in a press conference in West Virginia Friday, reported Just The News.

Scalise told reporters House Republicans plan to unveil a number of bills to lower energy costs and push back on the Biden administration.
