Saying it wants to strengthen its natural gas storage system in the event of a repeat of severe winter weather like in 2021, the New Mexico Gas Co. wants approval to build a $180 million liquid natural gas storage facility.
The company filed the request Friday with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission reported the Albuquerque Journal.
