Oklahoma’s general revenue funds continue to grow

A new report by the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services showed October general revenue fund collections for Oklahoma were up nearly 19% from a year ago.

Total collections for October came to $715.3 million which is 18.6% or $112.1 million more than the monthly estimate. It also is 17% better than the October 2021 collections.

“We continue to be encouraged by the upward trend of revenue collections that indicates the strength of Oklahoma’s economy,” said state Chief Operating Officer and OMES Interim Director John Suter. “Oklahoma has outperformed expectations across several key revenue sources and remains fiscally strong.”

He explained that collections in the first four months of the state’s fiscal year are also more than 27% improved from the estimate and 21% better than the same collections a year ago.
