US Sen. Mullin and state house speaker to tour the state

U.S. Sen. Markwayne Mullin will be joined by Oklahoma House Speaker Charles McCall in the coming week to hold a statewide tour.

The two plan four stops on a tour titled  “State and Federal Partnership Series; ‘Serving Oklahoma 101.’

These panel-style conversations will include a series of informative discussions regarding the role of state and federal leadership, their differences in responsibility, and how Oklahoma’s local, state, and federal leadership can work together to address many of the state’s most important priorities.

Each community-focused conversation between Senator Mullin and Speaker McCall is open to the public and will be followed by an audience Q&A. The goal of this series is to educate Oklahomans on their representation and equip local leadership with the tools to best meet their local and federal needs.

The first stop will be in Stillwater on Tuesday, June 25 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce offices, 409 S Main street.

The second stop of the tour will be Wednesday, June 16 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shangri-la Resort in Afton.

On Thursday, June 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sen. Mullin and Speaker Mccall will be at the Northeastern State University Muskogee campus administration building.

The final stop of their tour will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Sallisaw at 230 N Oak Street.
