Consumers’ anger grows over mounting utility bills in Oklahoma

 

We’ve reported on the growing complaints of Oklahomans over their utility bills and how costs passed along by some of the state’s most powerful utilities were approved by state regulators following the 2021 Winter Storm Uri.

Now The Oklahoma Watch reported there is growing anger over how the utilities were able to extend those higher bills for decades to come. Its deep dive into the problem revealed much of what OK Energy Today has reported for the past year.
