The Biden administration’s plans to list the lesser prairie chicken as a “threatened” species prompted Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach to say he will file suit over the move.

Kobach contends the administration’s move is not only illegal but potentially devastating to landowners and businesses in Kansas reported the Kansas Reflector.

The decision by the federal government has also drawn critical responses from Oklahoma’s Congressional delegation.
