Crude oil prices dropped on Monday along with OK energy stocks

Monday saw a drop in crude oil  and natural gas prices in the US and across the world while Oklahoma energy stocks dropped as well.

West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery tumbled $1.23 per barrel to $78.74 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude dropped 75 cents to close at $82.80 per barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

April natural gas rose 8 cents to $1.92 per 1,000 cubic feet.

A few Oklahoma energy stocks saw some gains recorded in Monday’s trading. Otherwise, most ended the day down including a 5% loss for Empire Petroleum Company.

Down appeared to be the path of the day for other energy stocks, according to the Texas Energy Report.

Energy Transfer LP (ET) down 0.08 at 14.90 – change 0.54%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.10 at 27.65 – change 0.37%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 0.27 at 115.83 – change 0.24%

Exxon Mobil (XOM) down 1.48 at 104.36 – change 1.40%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.11 at 17.57 – change 0.63%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) down 0.34 at 24.26 – change 1.39%

NOV Inc. (NOV) down 0.23 at 16.87 – change 1.35%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) down 0.68 at 60.68 – change 1.11%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 0.06 at 144.26 – change 0.04%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) down 2.57 at 234.70 – change 1.09%

Tellurian Inc. (TELL) up 0.05 at 0.82 – change 7.10%

Valero (VLO) up 1.42 at 144.69 – change 0.99%
