Williams annual meeting to be held in April

Williams Companies Name 3 New Independent Directors - Oklahoma Energy Today

 

The annual meeting of stockholders of Williams is set for April 25 and will again be “completely virtual” according to the company’s announcement.

It will begin at 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Williams said because the meeting is once again completely virtual, it will allow more stockholders to participate.

The record date is the close of business on February 24, 2023.
Stockholders of record at such time are entitled to receive notice
of and to participate and vote at the Annual Meeting or any
adjournments or postponements of the meeting.

The company leadership is calling for approval of all items on the agenda including the election of 12 director nominees for a one-year term. The directors receive an annual $115,000 cash retainer in addition to an annual equity retainer of $175,000.

The company also urges the selection of Ernst & Young LLP as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2023.

The leadership also wants approval of the compensation for its named executive officers and to transact any business that might come before the annual meeting.
