Most energy bills didn’t pass muster in Wyoming legislature

With a few exceptions, most energy bills presented to Wyoming legislators this session got a “thumbs down.”

Some missed legislative deadlines and others just ran out of time according to the Casper Star Tribune.

The list of those that received last rites pertained to electric vehicle charging, carbon capture, restructuring of rooftop solar laws, a new tax on other sources of electricity production, and an attempt to refund a portion of oil and gas companies’ production taxes.
